The Worst Hindi Songs EverHindi music has a long history of being satirical. Bollywood is one of the most acclaimed film industries in India, and it's also one of the top places for music. The country was actually established by the Moguls who were displaced from Persia, so their unique culture includes western musical styles mixed with Indian folk forms. But all good things must come to an end at some point, because Hindi has jumped head first into its own oblivion with songs that are so repetitive, they're outright painful. At least that's what I used to think whenever I was listening to them on my phone or in a club late at night before I realized there was something else going on here too. Now I'm not saying that these tunes are horrible at all, because to me they're actually pretty decent, and I'm sure you could find a few good songs out there. But these songs have been so embedded in the fabric of Bollywood culture, it's almost impossible not to know them.The albums listed here are in alphabetical order, but I have added a level of significance when picking the worst. For instance, if a movie has several bad songs in it, then it would be considered in even worse position simply because more songs in a film usually means a better chance for redemption. On the other hand, if a movie has no songs whatsoever, then it's considered the worst. So I had to come up with different ways of ranking these albums so they were all more or less on equal footing. I tried to keep it as objective as possible by attempting to leave out my personal opinions on how bad these songs are, but there's still no way of knowing if people will agree with me. The first album is Badhaai Ho which has 14 tracks and ranked #3 for having 10 or more terrible songs in it , and #14 for having at least two horrible ones . The Worst Hindi Album Names Ever CompiledA title can often speak volumes about an album in itself. While this is especially true with Bollywood releases, it can be true even for English releases as well. Songs that have a title that is a bad pun tend to be the most popular, and I challenge you to find me even one song from an English album with a bad title. Though I think these Hindi titles are actually worse. These ridiculous puns usually involve common words or phrases, or try to make fun of something people already know about. For example, the movie Badhaai Ho , released in 2008 (which is #3 on this list), had the utterly ridiculous title Badhaai Ho (Haar gaya!). This album had 10 songs which means it's pretty much impossible for any of them not to be terrible. Now if you're wondering why some of these albums didn't make the list, that is because there were no songs in the film they belonged to. Films like Gulaab Gang and Brothers had no songs, which means they can't be considered for this list. I'm not sure if there's even another reason why this would happen other than that the producers didn't spend any money on them, but I have thought about it long and hard just to be sure .
